New Features for Cambridge Journals Online

Cambridge schedules three major releases of updated functionality each year. This enables us to develop a flexible service and ensures we can respond rapidly to requests for new features and functionality.

Advancing Research

  • Articles are published online ahead of print publication, with notification sent out to authors and registered users by email or RSS feed.
  • Citation links to CrossRef, PubMed and Google Scholar provide users with options for wider exploration of a research topic.
  • Email or RSS alerts are sent out to registered users whenever an article is cited.
  • Sample issues and all abstracts are freely accessible.
  • Quick links to the top 10 most read articles are available for each journal.
  • Enriched content in the form of multimedia companions and Editorial blogs are available.
  • Authors can offer readers unrestricted online access to their work through Cambridge Open Option, our open access initiative. Visit journals.cambridge.org/openoption for more information.
  • Direct links to articles are made available for authors and institutional repositories.
  • Dedicated homepages can be developed for our society partners to personalise their CJO presence and consolidate their own branding.
  • Online manuscript submission systems are offered to assist our publishing partners in the editorial process.
