Proceedings of the Nutrition Society publishes papers and abstracts presented by members and invited speakers at the scientific meetings of The Nutrition Society. The journal provides an invaluable record of the scientific research currently being undertaken, contributing to 'the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health.' The journal is of interest to academics, researchers and clinical practice workers in both human and animal nutrition and related fields.
From 2008, the Abstracts of the Original Communications (OC) A and B will be combined into one format and available online only. Whereas previously these were available only as a single large PDF file, in future we will be able to deliver higher online functionality for this section, by making each OC individually retrievable, fully citable via the use of DOIs and enhanced with full reference linking.
NEW - collaborative agreement between the Nutrition Society and the Arbor Clinical Nutrition Updates (ACNU). The Nutrition Society, based in the United Kingdom, is one of the world's best known nutrition professional organisations, with over 2,500 members. It is the publisher of four leading nutrition journals, British Journal of Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Proceedings of the Nutrition Society and Nutrition Research Reviews.
ACNU is an electronic journal, one of the world's most widely read nutrition publications for health professionals (such as doctors, nurses and pharmacists as well as dietitians and nutritionists), with over 125,000 readers in 203 countries. The collaboration will allow wider awareness and distribution of each organisation's knowledge resources, including dissemination of the latest nutrition research amongst a truly global audience, and joint publication activities such as seminar proceedings.
