Laura Sjoberg is Associate Professor of Political Science with a courtesy affiliation in Women’s Studies and Gender Research at the University of Florida. Her research on gender and international security has been published in more than three dozen journals in political science, international relations, and gender studies. She is the author or editor of nine books, most recently, Gendering Global Conflict: Toward a Feminist Theory of War (Columbia University Press, 2013) and Gender, War and Conflict (Polity Press, 2014). Dr. Sjoberg is the homebase editor of the International Feminist Journal of Politics and the 2015–2016 Vice President of the International Studies Association.
