Norman E. Bowie

Norman Bowie is the Elmer L. Andersen Chair of Corporate Responsibility and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Strategic Management and Organization and Philosophy at the University of Minnesota. Professor Bowie is co-author of Business Ethics (second edition) and the co-editor of Ethical Theory and Business (third edition) as well as nine other books on professional ethics and political philosophy and is a frequent contributor to scholarly journals and conferences.

Professor Bowie is a member of the Advisory boards for ethics projects sponsored by Arthur Andersen and Citicorp and is on the editorial board of Ethics. He is past president of the Society for Business Ethics and the former Executive Secretary of the American Philosophical Association.
