This paper begins by documenting general usage of the Internet as a tool for
delivery of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses. It then goes on to illustrate how a number of
specific internet-based classroom activities might be integrated onto EAP courses in order to equip
non-native speakers with the main skills that they are likely to need when following an academic
course at a British university.
