John Thomas McGuire is Adjunct associate professor of history at SUNY, Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden, New York. A contributor of articles and book reviews to the Journal of American History, Journal of Urban History, and other publications, he is working on a manuscript that analyzes social-justice feminism during the 1930s.
