Kevin B. Sheets is an associate professor of history at the State University of New York, College at Cortland and project director for a Teaching American History grant. His 2005 article in the. Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era examined the early history of the Loeb Classical Library. His current research investigates Progressive Era pedagogical practices in both Latin and the arts.
