Drift dissipative instabilities of electron-acoustic and lower-hybrid waves

Abstract

It is shown that drift dissipative instabilities can occur in the frequency regime Ωi xs226A ω xs226A Ωe. These instabilities are associated with the electron-acoustic and lower-hybrid waves.
