To the Editor

I found the paper ‘A national case-control study of risk factors for Listeriosis in Australia’ [Reference Dalton1] most interesting. While at the time of the paper's submission the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) Listeria brochure was only in English, FSANZ has since produced a Listeria and pregnancy video that has been translated into Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Khmer (Cambodian) and Maori. We chose video as a medium, rather than written translations, as we considered that Australian women from non-English-speaking backgrounds may not necessarily be literate in their own language. The video and translations are available on our website [2]. We may do more translations in future.
