A note on an alternative form of the lactation model of Wood

Abstract

An alternative form, y = Anmce−cn, of the lactation model of Wood, y = Anbe−cn, is suggested. The new parameter, m, is the time required to achieve maximum milk yield. The correlations between non-linear parameters are reduced.
